Students attending an accredited homestudy program or high school must meet regular admissions requirements. This includes students who attended a public high school outside of the state of Georgia.

Applicants graduating from non-accredited homeschools or high schools shall document their graduation and completion of the 17 units of the RHSC through the submission of a curriculum packet. The curriculum packet must include the course title, description, learning materials utilized (textbooks, software, reading lists, etc.), year the course was completed, course credits and grade earned, and the school, institution, or program through which the course was taken (homeschool program, private/public school, online program, postsecondary institution, etc.) for each academic unit. Additional documentation to further evaluate course content may be required. Students must also submit and meet minimum SAT/ACT requirements. Contact your admissions counselor for additional information.

Step 2 – Submit Official Documentation

Submit official SAT or ACT scores directly from your College Board or ACT account. We don’t require both exams, but students are welcomed to send both. We will superscore and use the highest scores you submit to give you the greatest opportunity.

Submit an official high school transcript. This should be sent electronically directly from your high school. If you’re currently enrolled in your senior year, please include a copy of your current class schedule.

If you’ve taken Dual Enrollment classes, have your college send official transcripts to AU. We will award as much credit as possible, based on our .

Submit any official AP or IB exam scores. Learn more about credit by exam.

Continue checking your application portal as new requirements might be added to your checklist throughout the process. If you have questions about documentation needed, please contact admissions@augusta.edu.

Step 3 – Confirm Your Enrollment

If you are admitted, you will need to secure your seat by confirming your enrollment and submitting a $200 nonrefundable enrollment deposit.

After submitting the acceptance agreement on your portal and activating your AU credentials, you can access your POUNCE account and submit your deposit.

Note: For any student in a non-selective program - with or without active duty service - who did not enroll or attend any other higher education institutions after being admitted/re-admitted, admission/re-admission will be deferred for up to one year via a written request to the office of Undergraduate »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ. Submission of a new application is not required for admitted/re-admitted students in non-selective programs who meet the requirements stated here.
