»Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ utilizes Scholarship Universe (SU) to assist students in applying for scholarships. Through SU, students are matched to a variety of institutional and external organizations scholarship opportunities. Scholarships are based on need, merit, and/or talent. In order to qualify for need-based scholarships, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Most institutional scholarships have a deadline of February 1^st for the upcoming academic year (ex: February 1, 2022 is the deadline for Fall 2022/Spring 2023). Scholarships offered through our departments/colleges may have different deadlines. Please consult your area of study for more information.

To access the system you must be accepted by »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ and obtain your JagID. Students accepted after the February deadline can still access the system for scholarships offered by external organizations but may not be matched to institutional scholarships.

External Scholarships:

• Students receiving scholarships from an external organization can inform our office.
• The organization will send the scholarship check to either our office or the Business Office.
• Once the check is received, funds will be added to your financial aid package.
• Checks received between May and October will be split between the Fall and Spring semesters unless the organization indicates a specific term.
