Teaching Interests

My teaching interests are broad however I have continually instruction introduction to nutrition, current issue in health and disease, personal training instruction, and group fitness instruction. Current issues in health and disease one of my favorite due to the ever changing landscape regarding health and current issues.

Research Interests

My research interests is a combination of culturally relevant pedagogies and positive youth development. Regarding youth I have a passion for utilizing physical activity as a means to support youth's mathematics, reading, and writing skills, also known as multimodal literacy.
