Teaching Interests

As a Dean, I don't have the opportunity to teach much anymore but I absolutely love teaching pre-service and in-service teachers about literacy, how to work with parents, classroom management, authentic assessment, and research-proven instructional strategies.

Research Interests

My research interests reflect new teacher induction (how to help new teachers survive and thrive as P-12 educators), teacher created performance based authentic assessments, and teacher reflection.
