Bio

Dr. Washington is a microbiologist with over 20 years of experience spanning the U.S. military, academia, and industry. He earned his Ph.D. from the F. Edward H茅bert School of Medicine at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, and has both led and conducted research in immunology, microbiology, and clinical laboratory science.

Dr. Washington teaches general biology (Biology 1107/1108) and microbiology (Biology 2260). He previously taught medical school microbiology, microbiology for dental residents and microbiology for medical laboratory technicians.
