Bio

Dr. Komaravolu earned his Ph.D. in Vascular Medicine from Ruprecht Karls Universität Heidelberg, Germany, where he conducted research in collaboration with the University of Groningen in the Netherlands as part of the International Research Training Group (IRTG). In 2015, he moved to the United States to pursue a postdoctoral position at the University of Cincinnati, Ohio, where his research focused on the impact of dietary lipids on cardiometabolic diseases. As an Assistant Staff Scientist at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation (OMRF) in Oklahoma City, he investigated sex-specific differences in metabolic inflammation. In 2022, Dr. Komaravolu joined the Immunology Center of Georgia to further advance his expertise in vascular immunology and cardiovascular inflammation.
