Bio
After obtaining PhD in Biomedical Sciences from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, completed postdoctoral training in Biochemisty/Immunogenetics at the University of Minnesota and Mayo Clinic, MN. After a brief tenure at the National Institutes of Health, moved to UAB as Associate Professor and later in 2013 moved to AU as a full Professor. Research interests include investigating cellular response to injury and influence of aging using experimental models of trauma and sepsis.
