My teaching interests center on exploring alternative pedagogies that engage students as co-creators of their learning at all levels of education. I am particularly interested in approaches that foster cultural competency, critical reflection, and applied knowledge. Additionally, through courses focused on leadership development for college students, I aim to create spaces where students develop self-awareness, agency, and the skills to navigate complex academic and social systems while contributing meaningfully to their communities.
My research interests focus on how student affairs practitioners can cultivate environments that affirm students鈥� lived experiences and support their academic and personal growth. Specifically, how student engagement, leadership, mentorship, and other high-impact practices can promote holistic student success in higher education.
