Valery Dzutsati is an Assistant Professor of Political Science in the Department of Social Sciences at »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓÆµ. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Arizona State University.

Teaching Interests

At »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓÆµ, I teach graduate courses on ethnic conflict, interstate conflict, and research methods. I have also taught courses on International Political Economy, International Relations, European Politics, Eurasian Politics, Russian Foreign Policy, and International Law.

Research Interests

My research interests include intrastate and interstate conflict, democratization, religion and politics. I am particularly interested in the intersection of domestic politics and interstate conflict processes.
