Teaching Interests

My teaching centers on developing reflective, ethical, and highly effective educational leaders who can translate theory into practice across diverse school and district contexts. I emphasize applied, inquiry-based learning aligned with Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) leadership standards, encouraging candidates to engage in authentic field experiences, data-informed decision-making, and self-efficacy development as pathways to sustained organizational improvement.

Research Interests

My research examines the dimensions of educational leadership efficacy, particularly within rural and underrepresented contexts, through both quantitative and qualitative approaches. I am interested in how leader self-efficacy, mental health, and contextual factors interact to influence decision-making, organizational culture, and student outcomes—work that informs leadership preparation, professional learning, and system-level policy design.
