Teaching Interests

I am very interested in new teaching methodologies and am constantly adjusting to meet the needs of my students. I primarily focus on general physics education including introductory physics II covering topics such as electricity, circuits, magnetism, and optics. I am also interested in teaching an advanced course in electronics.

Scholarship

Selected Recent Publications

  • fMRI-based data-driven brain parcellation using independent component analysis, 2025
    Journal Article, Academic Journal
  • Characterization of Resting-State Functional Connectivity Changes in Hypertension by a Modified Difference Degree Test, 2023

Research Interests

My PhD is in magnetic resonance imaging physics where I studied how activation patterns in the brain can be used to build and inform studies. I still maintain my computational and data analysis skills, but I have also moved on to research in remote sensing. My current goals are to address real-world issues in the maintenance of water and air quality. I work on image processing methodologies, as well as novel ways to design and implement sensors to remotely gather data for post-processing. I'm constantly looking to new and fresh ideas for how to solve real-world problems.
