                     We are committed to providing a multidisciplinary, coordinated response for victims
                        of sexual assault.
                     
                     If you are a victim of sexual assault, please call us directly or the Sexual Assault
                        Resource Center’s 24/7 hotline at 706-724-5200. First and foremost know that you have options for your care and that SHS can provide
                        support, confidentiality and assistance with your next steps.
                     
                     We are a member of »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓÆµâ€™s Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), a multidisciplinary team dedicated to raising awareness of sexual assault prevention
                        and response.

                              - Time frame of evidence collection is 120 hours for adolescent/adult patients in Georgia.
- Can include photography of injuries, collection of swabs and clothing for DNA
 
- Evaluation/Treatment for STI’s
- Evaluation/Treatment for Pregnancy (pregnancy test and emergency contraception options
                           if needed/applicable)
- Discharge/Safety Planning/Follow-up Services
- Counseling/Mental Health/Psychiatry referrals
- Assistance with prescriptions if needed
- Follow up medical care and lab work
