Research
In addition to meeting institutional expectations for teaching and service, Augusta
University's Clinical Laboratory Science faculty members are actively engaged in scholarship,
with research endeavors appearing in leading peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.
Scholarly activities also include awards of research/training grants and clinical
contracts.
CLS faculty and students present research at international, national, regional, state,
and local professional meetings. Faculty serve as mentors to graduate students working
on research projects in fulfillment of master's degree requirements.
