"If you feel something like a lump, you need to get it checked by your doctor, and if that doctor tells you ‘It’s nothing,’ go see another doctor," says Cecil Herrin.

“By easing financial burdens, this scholarship allows our graduate students to fully immerse themselves in rigorous scientific inquiry," says Jennifer Sullivan, PhD.

"At a time when AU faced immense challenges, the Syfan family, Syfan Logistics and their community stepped forward with unwavering generosity," says President Russell T. Keen.

“He always saw the good in people, and I just want people to remember that," says Becky McKenzie.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the gate and can be purchased online. All proceeds go toward undergraduate student scholarships.

“IGIVE is a wonderful opportunity for faculty and staff to support areas on campus that are meaningful to them,” says Jeff Snow.

“We really rely on people like Hyundai who understand the need and give hope to these kids,” says David Munn, MD.

“If retinopathy of prematurity is treated early, vision can be improved or saved, and we can protect the future of these infants,” says Yusra Zaidi, PhD.

“It’s our community, and I feel very proud to be a part of it and to be able to help. I’ve built my skills as someone who speaks Spanish and English," says Elisa Jenks.

"Dr. Amero has demonstrated a strong commitment to medicine and the care of patients," says Elizabeth Gray, MD.

"People in this community revere the school, and it’s just a great example of if you ask, then people will help,” says Becky McKenzie.

"She put away 10% of her salary for decades and started The Shah Foundation,” says David Cantrell.

"Augusta Gives supports scholarships, athletics, academics, research, innovation and other essential programs," says Kristina Baggott.

"As proud ambassadors of this wonderful institution, our giving encourages alumni, donors and our community to join the cause," says Tina Baggott.

“Victor’s memory lives on as these students honor his legacy, building paths that lead to their own success," says Alexander Schwarzmann, PhD.

"Providing students with a financial scholarship to graduate debt-free creates access for first-generation college students,” said Susan Davies, PhD.

“I want students to love what they do, to be knowledgeable and to take care of their patients to the best of their ability," said Judy Seitz Black.

IGIVE begins Tuesday, Sept. 10, and extends through Tuesday, Oct. 22.

The new stadium will feature 420 seats, including more than half with comfortable chairbacks.

“We want to create intentional support systems, so students feel engaged and like they are part of a community,” said Judi Wilson, PhD, dean of COEHD.

“This could positively impact care for children with brain tumors by improving their quality of life,” said Theodore Johnson, MD, PhD.

“We need nurses, and there are people who need help to get there,” said Ollie Creasy.

In becoming so closely connected to Paulette Harris, PhD, Steve Ruby couldn’t help but get immersed in the ƹ϶Ƶ Literacy Center.

“As a working college student, I understood the economic struggles during my day and I am acutely aware that students today have the same, or even greater, challenges.”

The Immunology Center of Georgia has established the Margaret-Gertraud Immunology Lectureship to honor the co-directors' late mothers.
