The »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ School is committed to supporting strong mentor-mentee relationships that promote academic success, professional development, and research excellence. These resources are designed to help faculty and students establish clear expectations, foster open communication, and create a positive and productive environment for effective mentorship.

Mentor-Mentee Agreements

These formal agreements outline general roles, responsibilities and goals for the mentor and mentee to sign and revisit as needed. 

Shared Expectations Form

This form helps mentors and mentees discuss and record specific expectations for communication, progress, and responsibilities to ensure clarity and alignment. 

CIMER Training

The »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ School partners with the Center for the Improvement of Mentored Experiences in Research (CIMER) to offer evidence-based training that equips faculty to support other faculty in effective mentoring practices. The »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ Council is an advisory body for the dean of the »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ School and is the primary channel for communication between the graduate faculty and the dean and staff of the »Æ¹Ï¶ÌÊÓƵ School.
