The Bioassay Laboratory is a 600 sq ft room that has NOVA-8 and NOVA-16 analyzers, Cholestech and Hemocue analyzers, two spectrophotometers, two microplate readers, two microplate washers, a gamma-scintillation counter for RIA assays, four refrigerated centrifuges, four Gibson -20 °C freezer/refrigerators, and 12 Harris Ultra-Low Temperature (-80 °C) freezers. The laboratory has cabinets and ample countertop space for processing and analyzing blood samples.
