AUGUSTA, Ga (WJBF)- The Medical College of Georgia continues to grow. That was the message at the annual 鈥淪tate of the College Address鈥� Friday. Friday afternoon, Dr. David Hess, Dean at MCG, talked to colleagues and students about the college鈥檚 accomplishments and plans for the coming year. The theme of the day? Growth and expansion. This year MCG had its largest first year class ever, 304 incoming students, one of the top 5 largest in the nation.

Medical College of Georgia Dean David Hess, MD, gave his annual State of the College Address on Friday, Feb. 21, and also honored the campus dean who helped establish MCG鈥檚 statewide educational model, a community researcher and director of the MCG Department of Family and Community Medicine鈥檚 primary care research network, and the inaugural senior vice president and hospital president at MCG鈥檚 clinical partner, Wellstar MCG Health.
